Since 2022, it has been known that Valorant is set to become playable on other platforms. First, Tencent Games was developing the mobile version, but Riot Games took over in summer 2023. Now, it seems like it will soon be available to everyone! Earlier this year, there were limited tests in China. Mobile gaming and esports enjoy widespread popularity in Asia, making this development highly anticipated.

Here and there, some beta impressions have already been shared on social media, such as a ranked game in the Chinese closed beta. Also, cool features are buzzing that will probably make PC players jealous. In Valorant Mobile, there are special agent animations when you end up as MVP, something the PC version doesn't have.
So, that's how the layout of Valorant Mobile looked in a Chinese closed beta. Some things could still be changed and repositioned before the release of the open beta. Here you could control your movement on the left side of the screen and aim, shoot and use abilities on the right side.

There are no specific details regarding the requirements and whether it will initially release on Android, iOS, or both. However, similar to the Valorant PC version, Riot will probably make it accessible to a broad audience with no need for high-end devices.
By the way, you won't be able to play Valorant Mobile on a controller, as a separate version is being developed for consoles.
