So far, we've only had the locations and approximate start dates for the VCT events, but now we have some more interesting details, revealed by Riot. Also, check out future plans, including what's in store for Game Changers and the scoop on those personalized skin bundles!
We are still in the off-season, which has kept us engaged with some tournaments, but let's be real—our highlight reel is all about those intense VCT moments when teams go all in.
In their VCT 2023 EO Letter To The Community, Riot has provided a brief recap of their most successful year in 2023 and shared some exciting details about their vision for the upcoming Valorant Esports seasons.
Valorant Pro Scene 2024 - News From A "Letter To The Community"
Leo Faria, in charge of Valorant Esports, shared the success story of Game Changers' impressive viewership numbers. They're taking it a step further by aiming to offer Game Changers participants the chance to join mixed teams. This opens the door to greater diversity, with the hope of seeing everyone, regardless of gender, at larger VCT events in the future.
Additionally, there are plans to restructure the schedule, but that's happening in 2025. Instead of cramming most events into the timeframe from February to September, the tournaments are set to be more evenly spread throughout the year. This way, fans won't have those long dry spells without action and players are more likely to be spared from burnout.
Also, there is the establishment of the Chinese league, which you can learn more about here.

By the way, the Masters will kick off in a new format, starting with a swift stage and concluding with a double-elimination bracket.
VCT Team Bundles
With the next VCT seasons kicking off, every pro team, including the Ascension teams, will have their own skin bundle. Yep, you heard it right—starting in February, fans can support their favorite teams by purchasing and wearing their skins, with a slice of the pie going to the organizations.
