Riot shared that they couldn't work things out with Amazon Games. So, from March 2024 onwards, there's no more Prime Gaming Loot for Valorant, LoL and other Riot Games. Yet, excitingly, more in-game rewards could be waiting for us!
Each month, we enjoy claiming the Prime Gaming loot that come with our Amazon Prime status. Now, just before Christmas, we have to find out that the "gifts" from Amazon Games for Valorant and all other Riot Games will soon be denied to us. But there might be a glimmer of hope on the horizon.
No More Prime Gaming Loot for Valorant, But More In-Game Rewards Instead?
While we appreciate the stuff we get for Valorant—like Gun Buddies and Sprays—seeing the League of Legends rewards can make us somewhat jealous. After all, they get capsules in Prime Loot that offer free skins and Riot Points for even more skins. Meanwhile, Valorant Players are getting a Shorty skin once in a blue moon.
Maybe it's because there aren't as many weapons in Valorant as there are champions in League. Or, Valorant being newer might make Riot more cautious about freely distributing skins.
However, Anna Donlon, Vice President & Executive Producer at Riot Games, has announced that we'll continue getting rewards in Valorant through other means.
Hey everyone! We know how much players loved all the Sprays, Gun Buddies, and Player Cards from this program, and while they'll discontinue after March, VALORANT will continue to find different opportunities to reward you for all the ways you play and engage. https://t.co/gmWu1ZIzzk

What exactly that entails and how it will look, we don't know. It could be in-game rewards, maybe tied to completing specific challenges, similar to weekly and daily missions. It could also mean, that there will be more community events on the official Discord server.
Anyway, we'll likely find out more in a few months. Let's see how our farewell Prime Gaming Loot will shape up.
