What? Valorant is getting another new agent already? You read that right. We'll break down what the teaser reveals and what we know.
At the end of October, Valorant introduced Iso and now we've got a sneak peek of yet another new agent. It's definitely not getting boring! Maybe this time, Agent 25 is set to turn the meta upside down, especially considering some of the previous agents needed some buffs to keep up. This seems to be a Player Card from the upcoming Episode 8 Battle Pass in Valorant. Just like with Iso, we previously got a Player Card showcasing some of his abilities and why should it be any different this time?
New Agent 25 - Speculation About Class And Abilities
It's rightfully speculated that this time around, we might be getting a smoker. Looking at the pattern of the recent releases, it should be the smokers' turn again.
I like smokers and I like Winx Club, so far things are looking good for me and fellow smoker mains are also excited about the upcoming agent.
There are already wild guesses about the abilities and their animations. Maybe the smokes will be made of moving swarms of butterflies.
The abilities might also have something to do with metamorphosis, considering we might see the transformation of the caterpillar into a butterfly in the teaser. Although it could also be related to bunny ears in a broken egg instead of a cocoon. It's not very clear. Either way, it's likely the upcoming agent will bring something unique to the table that other smokers don't have.
Also, there's a codename going around for the new agent - 'Smokedancer'. What does that tell us about their abilities? It sounds like their smokes could be pretty versatile. Maybe they can change the shape and structure of their smokes? Or agent 25 might be able to jump on their smokes. A smoker with special movement would definitely shake up the meta. It could encourage more aggressive plays and make the whole thing more exciting, similar to what we see from Omen players. We'll find out soon, hopefully!
When Will The Upcoming Valorant Agent Be Released?
According to leakers, we won't be able to play Agent 25 until March 2024. This is expected to be in Episode 8 Act 2. So, there's still a while to go and we're sure to come across some more Easter eggs along the way.
