What's happening with the rosters of Valorant esports teams isn't always easy to decipher. No wonder it's called Rostermania, as players in these teams are constantly changing, like in a speed dating session. In this context, let's take a closer look at the current situation of the NRG roster.

Valorant Rostermania: Who Will Join NRG?

So far, we know that Crashies and Victor, who have been in the same team since the OpTic days, are signed with NRG, with Ethos as the substitute.

There are strong hints that Marved has probably signed with NRG and the only thing left is when NRG will officially announce it. On X, there have been unmistakable posts from Marved, like wishing Andy Miller, NRG's Founder and CEO, a happy birthday. It's pretty clear from the comments too.

There have also been rumors circulating that Ethan and Demon1 might be joining NRG. It adds up, as Crashies, Victor and Marved already make three, leaving two spots open. And why else would NRG wait so long to bring on and announce their final two players?

The hurdle was that Ethan and Demon1 were stuck in a contract jail with Evil Geniuses. However, checking Ethan's Twitter, it looks like this might be over, as he posted a 'prison break' gif. Also, George, who has often shared accurate esports leaks in the past, replied:

With Ethan and Demon1 on board, NRG would have the world champions in their team. Demon1 was even crowned as the MVP of Valorant Champions 2023, delivering an outstanding performance.

Who'll Be The IGL For NRG?

Until the end of VCT Champions 2023, Marved was the In-Game Leader (IGL) for Sentinels. Now, some people are wondering if he'll be the IGL at NRG. In Reddit discussions, it is clear that most fans are crossing their fingers, Marved's IGL career won't have a sequel, as they think there were some weaknesses in his IGL skills.

Many think Ethan could make a good IGL, or they propose a Paper Rex-style chaos - no specific IGL, instead, all team members make calls. But, just because it works for PRX doesn't mean it will be the same for NRG.

Hi, I'm Ina! Since I'm writing here a lot about Valorant, it makes sense that I'm a passionate gamer in my personal life as well. My love-hate relationship with Valorant has been going on for about a year and a half now. We've had our ups and downs. Occasionally, I also play MMOs for some nostalgic fun....
