Unrated game mode valorant

Unrated

Unrated is a so-called "normal" for Valorant. There is no ranking system, and you can match players at any level, but there is still a competition aspect, as you have to win the game. It is a 5v5 experience, where the first team to win the total of 13 rounds wins the match. Simple as that. Most of the players in Unrated are simply beginners, who are grinding it to unlock the "Competitive" mode. | © Riot Games

Valorant competitive mode

Competitive

Competitive mode is a "ranked" of Valorant. It has a total of 9 rank tiers, which you can learn more about here: Valorant Rank System Explained: RR, MMR & More. The rules to winning the game are exactly the same as with Unrated, except you can't have an overtime, so if both teams win 12 rounds, it ends with a tie, and you rarely gain or lose a significant amount of Rank Rating points for such a match. As of now, this is also the only game mode where you have some kind of ranks, so keep that in mind when reading the rest of this gallery! For both Competitive and Unrated modes, the average game length is around 35 minutes. | © Riot Games

The range valorant

The Range

The Range is a solo practice map, so one could say that it's the only "non-competitive" mode in the game (and it's kind of true). You can access it by clicking on the “Practice” button at the bottom of the screen in the "Play" section. It is a nice mode to test your skills, practice your aim, strafing, and other important aspects of the game. There are many tools that you can use to your advantage, and we recommend you using it every day as a little warm-up routine before your Unrated or Competitive games. | © Riot Games

Valorant deathmatch

Deathmatch

Deathmatch is another game mode that can work as a great warm-up routine. This game mode is absolutely all about your shooting skills, as you can't use your Agent abilities here. What we really love about Deathmatch in Valorant is that there is no respawn time, meaning that you respawn as soon as you die. It is also worth mentioning that one Deathmatch game ends whenever one player reaches 40 kills or after 9 minutes of playing. There are no teams in Valorant Deathmatch, everyone is your enemy, so shoot everything that moves. | © Riot Games

Valorant spike rush

Spike Rush

Spike Rush is a game mode that you either love or hate. It is a decent mode to complete your daily quests and level up your Battle Pass fast, as your teams only needs to secure 4 rounds to win the match. It can also be a thrilling experience as there are many orbs with unique abilities scattered around the map. Still, on the other hand, players are not able to select their own weapons and must use those provided by the game, which is why it is rather focused on completing your missions quickly rather than the actual enjoyment of the game. | © Riot Games

Snowball fights

Snowball Fight

Snowball Fight is a holiday-themed game mode that appears every year on winter. It's an absolute blast to play, in my opinion! In this mode, you'll be armed with a snowball-firing weapon that can take out enemies with a single hit. The map is also filled with presents that give you special abilities and perks, similar to what you can experience in Spike Rush. | © Riot Games

Valorant replication

Replication

If you ask me, Replication is one of the most entertaining game modes Valorant has to offer. Here's how it works: you and your teammates choose your Agents in the lobby, and then the game randomly selects one of those Agents for everyone to play. This may seem a bit weird at first, but think about the possibilities! Imagine being forced to play as Sage reviving all of her teammates, or playing as Brimstone and filling the map with smoke clouds. Replication is definitely a wild ride and one of the most unique game modes Valorant has to offer. | © Riot Games

Valorant escalation time limited

Escalation

If you're looking for a high-energy, action-packed game mode in Valorant that you can enjoy with friends, Escalation might be just what you're looking for. It's sort of like a Deathmatch mode, but with a 5v5 twist. As you rack up kills, your team will unlock new weapons that are randomly chosen by the system. These can range from the Phantom to Chamber's ultimate ability. The team that works their way through all 12 weapon levels first wins. The randomness of the weapons in Escalation makes for a really exciting and unpredictable experience. Give it a try if you're feeling hyped and want to have a blast with your friends! | © Riot Games

TDM Stages 1

Team Deathmatch

Team Deathmatch is the latest game mode that's been added to Valorant. It's packed with fast gameplay and it's ideal for warming up. Players love playing TDM before their Competitive session as it wakes up your "Valorant Muscles" and gets you ready for the real deal. It lasts for 9:30 minutes and has a simple rule. First to 100 Kills or most kills till the timer runs out. It has Four Stages that are spread evenly in the match. Each stage has its own weapons that are provided to you which means that there is no economy in this game mode.
