After this weekend, a lot of content creators got a preview of Episode 7 Act 3 and they noticed some changes, which we have summarized for you!
The patch notes for upcoming update 7.09 contain interesting nerfs and buffs that seem to be very welcomed by most players. Not only does the Judge cause jump scares, but the weapon is also quite powerful in certain situations and can sometimes wipe out the entire enemy team. So players are especially happy about the upcoming Judge nerf, but also the Raze nerfs and Cypher buffs are going over well with players.
Raze & Judge Nerfed While Cypher Buffed
Judge Nerfs
Judge Nerf | #VALORANT PBE Patch 7.09- Reduced max mag size from 7 >>> 5- Increased Jumping spread from 1.25 >>> 2.25- Increased Running spread from .10 >>> .75 pic.twitter.com/3p3IO7e37P

Raze Nerfs
Raze has received several major nerfs since her release and yet she, along with Jett, remains a must-pick duelist for several maps. These are the nerfs Raze is getting with the new act:
Raze Nerf | #VALORANT PBE Patch 7.09Blast Pack (Q)- Satchel doesn't deal damage until fully armed.- Satchel arm time increased 0.5 seconds >>> 1.5.Paint Shells (E) - Primary grenade explosion radius 6m >>> 5.5m.- Secondary grenades explosion radius 6m >>> 5.25m.-... pic.twitter.com/rEOKGc0yxt

So the Satchels can no longer deal instant damage and her grenade damage and radius have also been reduced. Taking the Judge nerf into account, maybe flying Razes won't be as successful with the Judge anymore.
As a Killjoy main, I am very pleased with these changes, as it will make it more difficult for a Raze to destroy my setup. Cypher mains have a reason to celebrate as well. Not only is the Raze nerf at the same time a buff for Cypher, but he has also received some additional love from Riot.
Cypher Buffs
With Killjoy being dominant in the Sentinel meta, these Cypher buffs might bring about some changes. The Cypher setup has been buffed and now you need to be especially cautious about where you step. Additionally, Skye's 'dog' can no longer activate tripwires if they are placed at a medium height; it can only do so when they are positioned at foot level.
I don't how know about you folks, but even before these changes, I felt like a fly constantly getting caught in Cypher's cages. Maybe I'm just a klutz, though.
VALORANT PBE Patch 7.09 | #VALORANT Cypher Buff: Trapwire (C)- Decreased the time until the trap stuns a captured enemy 3 >>> 1.5 seconds.- After concussing an enemy, Trapwire no longer destroys itself but instead re-arms after 0.5 seconds. pic.twitter.com/LRioh8l9Ks
