The future of Valorant lies in the youngsters and upcoming stars. Oxygen seems to have a strategy in breeding their own players in their Academy. Oxygen Esports Valorant Season 2023
In the previous season, their goal was qualifying for Ascension through the North America Challenger Playoffs. Back in the qualifiers they had almost the same roster as now, excluding their new addition, as their current Assistant Coach was one of their active players. To cut it short, they finished 4th which wasn't enough to qualify as only the top 2 go to Ascension. Their Ascension run fell short to The Guard in the Lower Bracket Semi-Finals.
Currently, OXG is fighting in the group stage of the Sentinels Invitational off-season event. They are currently 2nd in the group stage, and as the top 3 teams will go through they seem to be going well, for now. Their last "decider" match is vs Moist x Shopify and is to start at 04:00 CET on the 3rd of November.
