Haven will no longer be the only Valorant map with three sites as reports suggest the newest one, Lotus, will have a similar setup.
Update: We finally got to try out Lotus, check out our full breakdown of the map right here, including everything you need to know about the three-site setup, breakable walls, rotating doors, and more.
It's been a hectic day for Valorant fans filled with exciting news. Of course, the vast majority has been focused on the reveal of upcoming Episode 6, Revelation, and the latest map in the game, one that according to leaks not only will be called Lotus, but will also feature a three-site setup.
The map, which is set to be in India, was finally revealed (at least slightly) in the Episode 6 Revelation trailer. The big imposing structure features massive lotus flowers, so the fact that it could be named after them according to ValorLeaks doesn't seem far-fetched at all.
Back to the leaks, as we've mentioned, ValorLeaks states that the map will feature three sites. This a first for a map released post-launch, with Icebox, Breeze, Fracture, and Pearl all being two-site maps.
We can clearly confirm this information thanks to the Episode 6 Revelation trailer, which sees Fade analyze some map schematics on her phone, with three marked locations that could very well be a reference to the fact that Lotus does indeed have three sites.
That means that starting with Episode 6, two out of the seven maps in the unrated and ranked map rotation pool will have three-sites, possibly having a big impact on the meta, particularly thinking in terms of pro play with VCT 2023 starting soon.
It's definitely going to be interesting to see what a new three-site map looks like. As more information comes to light, we'll be sure to keep you updated
