Leviatán have finalized their roster with "tex" as their newest and probably last addition to their Valorant roster. They made a super cool video about his introduction, and tex looked super hyped about his new role. Here's all you need to know about it.
Americas seems to be the region to look out for in the new season as the newly assembled and shuffled teams have a lot going on for them. Leviatán have finished their offseason job by signing former LOUD superstar "aspas", and the ex The Guard German-American Sentinel "tex".
Unfinished Business Between The Ex Teammates
The LATAM org has surely jumped quite a lot on the Americas power rankings and will be counted as contenders for the Americas League and the upcoming Madrid Masters. There's also another team that made a Valorant comeback and has a completely new roster and that is G2. Their new squad is composed of the disbanded "The Guard" roster, but without "tex". In the announcement video about Ian's signing, he made a very hype statement at the end saying "I'm coming for you G2".

Tex & The Guard did very well in the 2023 VCT season, winning the Americas Ascension tournament and securing a spot at the next Americas League. The org had some unfinished financial duties, and the roster had to find a new org to support them in the new season. Once G2 signed the roster, and "tex" wasn't on it, everyone was sus about the reasoning behind it and were rumoring about some ongoing drama between the 2 sides.

New Rivalry Sparking Among G2 & Leviatán
The announcement video isn't the only content piece in which tex called out his ex-teammates. The Esports Journalist Lucas Benaim, interviewed Ian about a day ago, and he didn't hold his words when aiming towards G2. On multiple occasions, he said how hyped and fired he is about facing his ex-teammates, and that thought seems to be fueling his gameplay.
"That’s like one of my biggest motivations this season. Whenever something doesn’t work out with a team, of course you are going to want to destroy them in the season. So if I ever lose motivation for a second or if I ever lose focus for a second, I’m just going to remind myself of what happened and just make sure it never happens again." - Ian "tex" Botsch
We are not likely to see this rivalry in play this offseason, as the teams will most probably scrim and prepare for the incoming season that's ahead of them. The OFF//SEASON is to end around January, so about three months from now, we can see this rivalry fire up.
