Soon after a fanmade Ion Vandal went viral, the collection leaked online, with Riot Games confirming days later. Here's all you need to know.
While we previously talked about an incredible fanmade Vandal design and the subsequent leak of an official Ion 2.0 skinline, Riot Games has finally confirmed that the highly-anticipated collection will hit the Valorant in-game store sooner rather than later.
That's right, Phantom users will no longer be able to brag about boasting a slick, futuristic design with Ion, as Vandal players will be able to get one themselves. What's even cooler, the new designs come with variants!
We got all the details you need to know about the bundle, so let's get straight to business:
Valorant Ion 2.0 Release Date & Price
The Ion 2.0 collection will hit the Valorant in-game store on October 18 once the Episode 5 Act 3 update rolls around. It will replace the current collection in the featured section of the shop, which is the Crimson Beast skinline.
As for the price, the previous Ion collection was a Premium tier collection, coming in at 7100 Valorant Points (VP) for all the cosmetics. Expect similar pricing for Ion 2.0, if not a bit more, depending on what extra goodies it'll come with.
Valorant Ion 2.0 Skins
You can watch the new Ion 2.0 cosmetics in action in the amazing reveal trailer uploaded by Riot Games right here. The full list of weapons getting the Ion treatment include:
- Vandal
- Spectre
- Frenzy
- Ares
- Karambit Melee
As you can see, it's an absolute killer lineup of skins, and while they are on the upper echelon of cosmetics, you can be sure they'll be worth every penny.
