With the most consistent teams already having secured their spot at Valorant Champions, in what could potentially be the last time we see such a format with all the new implementations Riot Games has planned for the competitive scene in 2023, the Last Chance Qualifiers are more important than ever before.

Previous regional juggernauts such as Sentinels, a shoo-in for Champions last year, will be one of the highlighted teams in North America, especially with the recent Shroud pickup, which will turn the eyes of those that weren't even interested in watching pro Valorant.

In total, five LCQs will be played to determine the six final teams to join the likes of XSET, Fnatic, OpTic Gaming, and more at Istanbul for Valorant Champions - North America, EMEA, South America (which will hand out two spots), East Asia, and APAC.
