Check out all the information and the leak about the new Initiator Agent called "Fade"!
Fade's release is just around the corner, and the hype is real. We'll probably learn more exciting things about her during the VCT Reykjavik broadcast, but for now, let's check out everything we know about Fade, also known as a blackmailer or the bounty hunter.
Agent 20 Fade: Abilities
One of the first things that were leaked about Fade is actually all of her abilities. Looking at them, it seems like we're dealing with a hybrid of Sova and Skye.
C Ability: Prowler (300 Credits)
EQUIP. FIRE to send a creature out which will travel in a straight line looking for enemies AND/OR Trails. HOLD FIRE AND MOVE THE MOUSE to steer the creature in the direction you are facing. When the creature finds a trail or enemy, it will move toward them. Upon reaching the enemy, it will start a .5s cook time and then NEARSIGHT the closes enemy for 3s. Only one Creature can latch onto a TRAIL ever.
Q Ability: Seize (200 Credits)
EQUIP an orb. FIRE to throw the orb. The orb will travel in the air a max time of 5s until dropping to the ground. Upon hitting the ground it will stuck in place and begin to cook for .5s After .5s a zone will expand out to 7m and all enemies caught will be tethered to the center. Tethered enemies suffer 75 decay damage, are deafened, and cannot escape the zone by normal means for 5s. Can be reactivated in flighty to drop earlier.
E Ability: Haunt (Signature Ability)
EQUIP an orb. FIRE to throw the orb. The orb will travel in the air a max time of 1.5s until dropping to the ground. Once it hits the ground, it raises back up and turns into an Eye that can be destroyed. If the Eye sees opponents, it will REVEAL them and apply a TRAIL debuff that lasts 12s. Can be reactivated in the flight to drop the projectile earlier.
X Ability: Nightfall (Ultimate Ability)
EQUIP this ability. FIRE to send out a wave of dark mist. If the mist comes in contact with an enemy, they will be TRAILED, DEAF, and DECAYED for 12s
She's such a stalker, ain't she? All of these abilities really fit the Initiator class, and she may actually be the best Agent for this class if the meta is right.
Agent 20 Fade: Origin
Leaks say that Fade is a Turkey-based Agent. And what does she do for a living? Blackmailing people, apparently.
That's right, all those cards scattered around the maps we've been dealing with since the beginning of Episode 4 Act 2 are almost 100% related to the new Fade Agent. To learn more about her blackmailing career, go here.
Agent 20 Fade: Release Date
Fade will come out on Wednesday 27th along with a Patch 4.08, new skin line, and, of course, the Episode 4 Act 3 Battle Pass. And as you can see, we pretty much know everything about her so far. Now we're just all waiting to try her out in the game.
